Rocky Mountain Masonic Conference 2010
Brethren,
The New Mexico Grand Lodge will be hosting the 59th Rocky Mountain Masonic Conference (RMMC) at the Marriott Pyramid North in Albuquerque, NM from July 15th – 17th. The RMMC’s membership is comprised of the Masonic Grand Lodges of Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Grand Lodge Officers from each of these jurisdictions come together each year to discuss several topics of importance within the Masonic community. This year’s topic of discussion is “What’s Working for Freemasonry”. Each state representative will be allotted time during the conference to address what is working for Freemasonry within their jurisdiction and it should provide a wonderful opportunity for brethren from each of these states to come together and share their positive experiences.
If that wasn’t enough, this years RMMC has 4 wonderful key note speakers: Arturo de Hoyos, Grand Archivist and Grand Historian of the Supreme Council, 33 degree, Southern Jurisdiction, W.B. Christopher Hodapp, author of the best selling book, Freemasonry for Dummies, M.W. Rex Hutchens, author of the book, A Bridge to Light, and M.W. Neil Neddermeyer, a widely known motivational speaker on many Masonic topics.
RMMC 2010 is open to all Master Masons and more information about registration can be found on the website listed below (event schedule, guest speaker bios, entertainment, ladies program, conference cost, etc.).
Hope to see you there!

St. Patricks Day!
The first St. Patrick's Day parade took place not in Ireland but in the United States. Irish soldiers serving in the English military marched through New York City on March 17, 1762. Along with their music, the parade helped the soldiers reconnect with their Irish roots, as well as fellow Irishmen serving in the English army.
